Notification types

• Geofences
• No messages for a given time interval
• Events generated by the object (or created in object's script)
• For attributes in an object's tooltip or defined in a script
• By attribute ID in incoming messages

Rules for creating notifications

• Geofences: Enter, Leave, Transition(Enter or Leave)
• Object events and string attributes: Equal to, Not equal to, Contains substring, Starts with, Ends with
• For numeric object attributes: Less than, Greater than, Equals to, Not equals to, Transition(passage through the set value)

Time of day and day of week

To generate notifications, you can set the interval of the day during which they will be generated. You can also set the days of the week. If the start time is greater than the end time, notifications are generated after the beginning and before the end of the day, and from the beginning of the day until the time specified in the finish time.

Notification Status

Notifications can be active or paused (displayed with a gray background in the table). If an error occurs while processing a notification, such notifications are displayed in the table with a red background.

Group notifications

Notifications can be defined in groups. If no notification rules are set for an object, they are searched for in the nearest parent group. Because groups can contain different types of objects, rules for attributes must be created by attribute ID.
